I dont wanna be worthy on my own

Or accepted 
Or good enough

I wanna be patient. Trust that Your spirit testifies with mine & i am Your child. 
Trust that the price has been paid, and Jesus sits at Your right hand and intercedes for me. 
Be patient & wait for the day of Your return- when there will be fullness of joy and every good thing You promised. Bc You are faithful & dependable. 
Your word is true

Weights are lifted, expectations dissipated, there is no condemnation
& i belong to You

All of creation groans in eager anticipation

But You are a God who keeps Your promises

In the meantime will the narrow road be filled with trust & hope that it leads to life

Thank You that You love me & You call me your own

3am thoughts- 

2 years ago ken chua spoke at campus camp & talked about how he prayed and told God not to give his children success if its not for His glory. 

Praying that that will be my daily prayer.
When push comes to shove may I choose You above all else

4 years ago i remember staying up till midnight catching the elections results w mom in the living room


She liked george yeo alot & i deeply trusted her assessment of one's character

4 years on and im catching the elections results in a place full of unfamiliar people, and in a timezone which necessitates paying attention in class in approximately 10 minutes
This time discussing them with usp pals back home & across various continents, 
valuing the diversity of views & perspectives

A couple of days before mom passed away i attended usp scholaris (my first fop event) & i came back (to the hosp) & told her about it & she said bring me there next time & i said sure, but not before turning my back towards her and letting several tears escape my eyes

It was one of her (last) better days and insisted on using a pencil to choose her menu for the next week herself. This is also how i know that no matter how disabled, people value whatever agency and autonomy they have

Thoughts during the elections fever include- that we r so blessed. 
When you learn and discover how other countries work and operate, you start to see that every system is so so fallible, but God has blessed us so immensely. 
In France the state works to protect people from religion via their version of secularism. But we have a govt that actively encourages religious freedom. 

Need to micah 6:8 bc Gods will in Sg might not look like a particular party or MP, but gta keep praying bc He is bigger and more sovereign over this nation than any leader, any policy, any mistake we can possibly make. 

Will we keep sowing into the next generation who will rise up and be Godly leaders and missionaries in every sphere of society
