seeing the new team of mentors take over really serves to reinforce the fact that we've handed over, and that our term has ended.
and that it really is time to move on.

I know for a fact that they're going to have such an amazing journey. :)

this week, God has given me a new kind of confidence.
not in the outcome of what the next few weeks hold,
but in His goodness that doesn't change.

I never quite felt it like I do now.
When the people who surround you are so, so brilliant,
and that nagging feeling of inadequacy kinda creeps up on you.
I guess its also because I've always had badminton to fall back on,
and being good at it gave me my security.
I was so busy shaping my own identity, that I completely left no room to hear from my Creator.
I'm so used to certainty. :/
But right now I build from scratch,
and I work at it from the baselines.
And I'm thankful that its now, not later, even though its challenging, trying, and sometimes really painful.
I knew the moment I chose to give it up, that this is exactly what I'd be going through,
I know I expected nothing less, but still its the little little thoughts and emotions that take me by surprise.
At the start of the year, I penned it down as one of my bigger goals,
and now I get to begin that journey of fulfilling it.
Scary and extremely daunting,
but the harder the road, the sweeter the final victory.

I got an sms that totally made my day/night.

and it really reminded me of how much I love seeing growth in people.

Orientation ended yesterday,
And I'm missing it already.

I think there were moments where I definitely wondered what all these friendships/relationships built will amount to, or whether they'd be sustained.
But concluded that it really didn't matter..
Everything has to start somewhere right.?

But the passion and dedication from the OGLs/Orientation team was really quite inspiring, and awe-inducing. :)
I think OSL really showed me what it feels like to care about something so much. Like so, so much.
And seeing Chris' comment on a photo today made me miss OSL so much ):
I wanna be back in cambodia, with the team, with the mentors. Sigh.
"OMG gloria I totally did not realise that we even had this photo hahahha :) and checking through all my OSL photos really really makes me wish we could be back in Cambodia right now :( miss you ♥"
Parents' Meet in less than 10 days.
In less than 10 days, our mentoring term will officially be over.
